I'm a senior features editor for Popular Mechanics, Runner's World, Bicycling and BestProducts.com.

My work has appeared in The Atlantic, The Washington Post, Nature, Scientific American, Science News, and more. NPR's science podcast Short Wave once interviewed me about my project to rank every moon in the solar system. In 2022, Red Bull invited me to help judge the aerobatics portion of their Paper Wings Competition, the world's largest global paper airplane contest. 

 

I am a graduate of Smith College and UCSC's Science Communication Program, and was a recipient of the National Association of Science Writers Diversity Fellowship in 2018.
